The screen originally appears in Samsung Knox, an enterprise device management solution, but the problem is that the same phenomenon is occurring even on personal user devices that are not actually affiliated with enterprises.
In particular, on affected devices, a company that appears to not exist called 'Numero LLC' is displayed as a device administrator, and the phrase 'FRP Unlock Samsung' is reportedly exposed on the management app screen. Due to this, it has been suggested that IMEI information may have been leaked during the use of unverified third-party unlocking software in the past and falsely registered on the Knox portal, or that the system itself may have been partially compromised.
The problem is that even repeated factory resets maintain the same locked state. In this case, users become essentially unable to use the device, and in extreme cases, may be placed in a situation where they must give up using the device.
