ChatGPT, the flagship model of global AI company OpenAI, can now read and analyze Korean language documents.
OpenAI announced on the 17th that ChatGPT supports HWP and HWPX files, which are representative document formats used in Hancom Office 'Hangul' by Hangul and Computer. Accordingly, domestic users can now directly upload Hangul documents without additional file conversion to check and analyze the contents.
Users can upload HWP·HWPX documents to ChatGPT and immediately view the document contents, and through natural language-based question and answer, can find necessary information or summarize key content. It is expected to have high utility in work environments where extensive documents such as long reports, administrative documents, and meeting materials need to be reviewed quickly. ⋯⋯
With this support, domestic users can now more easily utilize ChatGPT productivity features while maintaining their existing document environment.
