Today we've added more information about Verified Steam Deck games to the Partner Dashboard. If you've received a Steam Deck Compatibility Report and your game is classified as "Verified," you can now view two new data sections related to that report.
Average Frame Rate Data
This section provides the daily average frame rate over the past 30 days, based on users who have agreed to frame rate data collection and have recorded playtime in your game. We'll be adding date-by-date fluctuation data soon to help you see if players' frame rates are consistent or vary significantly. We also plan to make this section available for games that receive a "Playable" rating on Steam Deck in future updates.
User Survey Results
These user survey results are based on surveys of users who have agreed to provide feedback on their game's Steam Deck compatibility rating. The survey appears in the client library's app page 10 minutes after a user has played the game. Users can respond with whether they agree or disagree with the assigned compatibility rating. If they disagree, they will be presented with a list of reasons why they might disagree, such as input, readability, performance, stability, and others. They can then select the applicable reason(s) from this list. Developers can view 30 days worth of survey results data and see if updates are helping to improve players' Steam Deck experience.
The reason we provide this data is that even though over 95% of users agree with the "Verified" compatibility rating assigned to their game, it can be helpful for developers to understand the experiences of users who may have dissenting opinions about a particular game or update.
As always, please leave a comment below if you have any bugs, suggestions for improvement, or additional information you'd like to see with this feature.
