iPhone sales surged 21%, and sales in other sectors such as services also increased
....According to foreign media outlets including the Financial Times (FT) of England, Apple announced on April 30 (local time) that its revenue for the second and fourth quarters (January to March) of this year's fiscal year was $111.2 billion (approximately 164.13 trillion won), a 17% increase from the previous year. This exceeded the market outlook (109.66 billion dollars) compiled by LSEG, a British financial information company, and is the highest figure ever recorded for the second and fourth quarters of the fiscal year.

Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, said in a statement on the day, "iPhone sales set a new record thanks to explosive demand for the iPhone 17 series." He added, "We launched amazing new products such as the iPhone 17e, iPad Air with the M4 chipset, and MacBook Neo."
Luca Maestri, Apple's CFO, argued that "if there were no supply constraints on advanced semiconductors used in Apple devices, sales would have been even better." Recently, TSMC of Taiwan, which entrusts production of Apple's semiconductors, was reported to have increased the supply of semiconductors to Nvidia and other artificial intelligence (AI) related companies.
