Apple has agreed to outsource the production of some chips used in its major devices, including iPhones, to Intel.
The two companies have reached a preliminary agreement for Intel to manufacture chips used in Apple devices, according to the Wall Street Journal on August 8 (local time).
According to reports, Apple and Intel reached this agreement after more than a year of negotiations. However, it has not been disclosed which specific products will use the chips produced by Intel.
