Sony announced a price increase for its PlayStation subscription service, PS Plus Essential (PlayStation Plus Essential), starting May 20, 2026.
The one-month plan will increase by $1 to $10.99, and the three-month plan will increase by $3 to $27.99.
The price of the 12-month plan will not change. (The 12-month Essential subscription price increase was last August)
Sony emphasized that existing subscribers in most countries will continue to be charged at their current subscription price unless they change their subscription status.
Additional Content) For new users in Korea, the Essential 1-month plan will be changed to 12,000 won and the 3-month plan to 31,000 won.
