This is to inform you of a change in usage limits included with Google AI Pro subscriptions.
Changes effective today, May 19, 2026:
Gemini app usage limit: A computing-based usage limit will be introduced for the Gemini app, taking into account the complexity of prompts, features used, and chat length. The usage limit will refresh every 5 hours until the weekly limit is reached. AI Pro subscribers will receive a usage limit 4 times higher than regular users.
AI Credits: The product-based usage limit model will be sequentially applied to other products starting with Flow and Antigravity. Purchasing AI Credits allows you to further increase your limit. While the monthly 1,000 AI Credits previously included as a benefit in the basic plan are no longer offered, the new usage limit model ensures that you can enjoy the same user experience. For detailed information on how to use AI Credits, please refer to customer support.
It seems like Claude will also have usage limits. Please refer to this when using it.
The email states that it will be applied from the 19th, but the customer center mentions it as starting on the 17th.
The response time has become faster. The speed... It seems like it's time to slow down a bit.
