YouTube will automatically label AI content videos.
This system, which will be introduced this month, is an autonomous system that uses internal signals to identify the presence of AI content in uploaded videos.
If a creator believes their content has been incorrectly identified as AI-generated, they can update its status through YouTube Studio.
However, if the content was created using YouTube's own tools such as Veo or Dream Screen, or includes C2PA metadata, the label will be permanently retained.
