Faster, Clearer, Brighter—LG Display's High-Performance Gaming OLED Full Lineup Captivates Global Customers in Taiwan.

Every June, Taiwan becomes a global hub for the PC and IT industry, bringing together leading companies in the ICT sector. Taking advantage of this opportunity, LG Display held the "Taiwan Gaming OLED Roadshow" from June 4th to 10th, showcasing its flagship gaming OLED products equipped with next-generation display technology.
Under the theme "Delivering a Faster, Clearer, Brighter Display Experience," the event brought together approximately 20 global gaming monitor manufacturers who experienced LG Display's latest gaming OLED technology firsthand and explored future collaboration opportunities.
Wider, Sharper, More Immersive
Flagship Gaming OLED Lineup Powered by Tandem WOLED Technology
LG Display has secured the industry's largest gaming OLED lineup, ranging from 20-inch to 40-inch panels. At the roadshow, the company unveiled its top-of-the-line gaming OLED products across the entire lineup, incorporating cutting-edge technology.
39-Inch Gaming OLED — World's Only Mass-Produced, World's First 5K2K

Among the exhibited products, the 39-inch gaming OLED panel stood out. This panel is the world's only mass-produced panel of its size and also the first to offer ultra-high resolution 5K2K. The combination of a 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio and a maximum curvature of 1,500R maximizes immersion in racing and simulation games.
27-Inch RGB Stripe OLED — Optimized for Both Gaming and Productivity

LG Display's RGB stripe OLED panel in the widely adopted 27-inch category garnered significant attention. With red, green, and blue subpixels arranged in a uniform linear stripe structure, this panel maintains consistent and narrow pixel spacing, delivering sharp text without color bleeding even when viewed up close. It provides high readability for gaming, document work, web surfing, and content creation while ensuring smooth screen transitions with a 240Hz refresh rate.
Brighter, More Precise
Shaping the Future of Gaming OLED

Beyond the flagship lineup, visitors explored a next-generation technology roadmap zone showcasing technologies that will define the future of gaming OLED.
VESA True Black 1000 × 2,000 nit Peak Brightness

LG Display unveiled the industry's first gaming OLED panel to achieve the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 standard. This means the panel accurately reproduces colors as intended by content creators without distortion. Reaching a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, it delivers vivid and immersive visuals based on maximized contrast ratio.
27-inch 5K OLED — 220 PPI, Print-Level Precision

The 27-inch 5K OLED panel with a pixel density of 220 PPI provides a print-level working environment for precise tasks. It minimizes distortion and virtually eliminates color bleeding in demanding applications such as graphic design and video editing, delivering professional-grade accuracy.
BFI and DFR 2.0 — Next-Generation OLED Technology Unveiled

Gaming OLED with BFI technology
Next-generation technologies, including BFI and DFR 2.0, were also introduced.
Black Frame Insertion (BFI) works by inserting short black frames between video frames to reduce perceived motion blur. When combined with OLED, BFI significantly enhances perceived image quality even at relatively low refresh rates. This is particularly effective in esports and first-person shooter games where split-second responsiveness is crucial, even without a high-performance graphics card.
Dynamic Frequency & Resolution (DFR) 2.0 allows users to switch between UHD resolution at 240Hz and FHD resolution at 960Hz, or between QHD at 540Hz and HD at 1,000Hz. Through these dual-mode capabilities, LG Display aims to achieve a 1,000Hz refresh rate for the first time in an OLED panel.
24.5-inch Gaming OLED — Esports-Specific Design

LG Display unveiled its first 24.5-inch gaming OLED, further expanding its entire gaming OLED lineup. The 24.5-inch size is ideal for esports as the screen fills the player's field of view. It is also known to be the most widely used monitor size among professional gamers. Featuring FHD resolution and a 540Hz refresh rate, it delivers intense immersion in first-person shooter games. Additionally, it meets the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 standard for vivid visuals with high contrast.
10 Years of Expertise, Leading the High-End Gaming Monitor Market
LG Display entered the OLED monitor market in 2022 based on over 10 years of tandem WOLED expertise and mass production know-how. In just two years, the company has secured major monitor brands as key customers, rapidly expanding its presence.
The Taiwan Gaming OLED Roadshow served as a platform for LG Display to directly present its current flagship lineup and next-generation technology roadmap to global customers. Moving forward, LG Display will continue to enhance customer value through differentiated technologies and products, accelerating its entry into the rapidly growing high-end gaming monitor market.
