Meta, the world's No. 1 smart glasses (smartglasses) company, has unveiled its first low-priced artificial intelligence (AI) smart glasses under its own brand.
Meta launched the smart glasses 'Meta Adventurer' and 'Meta Fury,' created in collaboration with eyewear maker EssilorLuxottica, on the 23rd (local time).
These products adopt a similar design to the 'Wayfarer' of the 'Ray-Ban' brand, which Meta first unveiled in 2023, and are priced at $299 (about 450,000 won), the same as the price of the first generation Wayfarer product when it was launched.
Compared to the price of 'Ray-Ban Display,' which started sales last year at $799 (about 1.2 million won), it is less than half.
Meta released the oval model 'Stardust' created in collaboration with American famous broadcaster Kylie Jenner for $399 (about 600,000 won).
