Google has expanded the regions where its low-cost AI subscription service is available to approximately 70 countries worldwide, including South Korea and the United States.
Google announced on the 27th (local time) that it will launch Google's 'AI Plus' plan in 35 new countries and regions, including the United States.
This plan was first launched in emerging markets in approximately 40 countries including Indonesia, India, Mexico, Egypt, and Vietnam, starting in September last year.
The AI Plus plan is characterized by offering AI models such as 'Gemini 3 Pro' or 'Nano Banana Pro' with less usage than the existing 'AI Pro' plan, but more than free users.
'AI Credits,' the resources that can be used for AI, are 100 points per month for free users, but the Plus plan receives 200 points per month, which is double. The Pro plan's monthly credits are 1,000 points.
Also, the available cloud storage is 200GB (gigabytes), which is one-tenth of the Pro plan's 2TB (terabytes).
The U.S. price for the Plus plan is set at $7.99 per month, which is approximately 40% of the Pro plan's $19.99.
In Korea, the existing Pro plan is 29,000 won, and the newly launched Plus plan is 11,000 won.
