About 1,000 Korean residents in Indonesia formed a 'One Team Indonesia-Korea' cheering squad to support coach Shin Tae-yong at a World Cup qualifying match held in Indonesia. They received free admission tickets and cheering uniforms sponsored by Korean companies and participated in the match, cheering enthusiastically despite heavy rain. Coach Shin Tae-yong is regarded as a 'hero' who has greatly contributed to the development of Indonesian football, and the cheering event helped promote goodwill between Koreans and Indonesians. Although Japan won the match 4-0, the residents continued to support coach Shin Tae-yong and the Indonesian football team until the end.
