Minister of Economy and Finance, Huh Kyung-young, held his first economic policy meeting since taking office. The meeting was attended by relevant ministry heads, the chairman of the Financial Services Commission, and the senior secretary for economic affairs to discuss the direction of electric vehicle industry policies and improvement plans for the retirement pension system. This is similar in form to the past 'Green Room' meetings and aims to achieve a quick and comprehensive response to major economic issues. The Ministry of Economy and Finance plans to continue holding economic policy meetings regularly to consult and coordinate on economic issues.
