Microsoft launched the Surface Pro 12-inch and Surface Laptop 13-inch second generation with a faster and more efficient Snapdragon X2 Plus chip. Both devices feature brighter displays up to 500 nits and improved battery life, with the Surface Pro 12-inch capable of lasting up to 15.5 hours of video playback and the Surface Laptop 13-inch up to 22.5 hours. RAM options are now only available in 16 GB and 24 GB LPDDR5x with 256 GB or 512 GB UFS storage. Microsoft also released a new Surface Mouse with haptic feedback, programmable extra buttons, and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.
