Acer CEO Jason Chen doubts predictions of computer memory shortages until 2030, calling them "fabrications" to protect the profit margins of large manufacturers. Chen states that the supply of RAM DDR4 and DDR5 has already increased, while Chinese manufacturers continue to increase production capacity and offer lower prices. He notes that shortages only occur for some high-end memory products, such as DDR5X, while overall CPU supply is considered adequate. According to Chen, price cycles in the memory market are normal and long-term predictions should be cautious. He expects prices to move towards a stable condition after the current period of high fluctuation ends.
