Tara Davis-Woodhall, the women's long jump gold medalist at the Paris Olympics, was recently involved in a head-on car collision. Fortunately, she did not sustain any major injuries but suffered severe concussion and other injuries, making it currently impossible for her to train. Davis-Woodhall said she cannot confirm whether she will be able to compete in this week's Ultimate Championship. She established herself as a star player in the event after winning the gold medal at the Paris Olympics with a record of 7m10. Her husband, Hunter Woodhall, is also a Paralympic track and field athlete who won a gold medal at the Paris Paralympics, having had both legs amputated.
