Amazon Web Service (AWS) has ordered two million units of Nvidia GPUs to meet the high demand for artificial intelligence (AI) services. The order includes various types of GPUs, including Nvidia Blackwell Ultra, Rubin, and Rubin Ultra, which are designed to handle heavy computing in the training and operation of AI models. These GPUs will be used in AWS data centers from 2027 to 2028 and represent an extension of the long-term partnership between AWS and Nvidia. In addition to GPUs, AWS and Nvidia will also introduce CPUs based on Vera and enhance network infrastructure to support increasingly complex AI applications. This collaboration aims to make AWS the best platform for running AI by giving customers the freedom to choose the best hardware and ensuring smooth operations.
