Democratic Party of Korea leader Kim Min-seok said he would handle the issue of alliance and integration with the National Revolutionary Party through democratic procedures and confirm the will of party members. He explained that the method of alliance has not yet been decided, and there are pros and cons within the party. In addition, he expressed his position that the problem of dual party membership must also be solved while discussing the alliance with the Innovation Party. Kim said he would promise to be more active in discussions on political system improvement with reform coalition parties such as the Social Democratic Party. Finally, he said that he would form a task force to promote the return of wartime operational control and focus on strengthening security by considering the position of the United States.
