Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa announced the National Nutrition Agency's (BGN) plan to change incentives for Nutritional Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) or Free Nutritious Meal Kitchens (MBG). Currently, each SPPG receives an incentive of Rp 6 million per day, but the new scheme will be adjusted according to reach and beneficiary needs. This change aims to make incentives more targeted and fair for SPPGs serving different numbers of beneficiaries. BGN will also evaluate SPPG locations to focus on areas with high stunting rates or those in particular need of nutritional assistance. With these changes, the payback time for SPPGs may vary, becoming faster or slower depending on the size of the new incentive.
