A large-scale flood occurred in Bagmati Province, central Nepal, resulting in 95 deaths and 403 missing persons. The missing include 341 foreigners, and contact with 9 Koreans has been lost. The Nepalese government stated that the cause of the flood was a glacier collapse caused by the Tibetan earthquake. The Korean government plans to dispatch a joint rapid response team to support the search and rescue of Koreans.
