The 2026 Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) League achieved a record low number of games (565) while surpassing 10 million spectators despite the heatwave, continuing the "10 million spectator" era for three consecutive years. The average attendance per game was 17,742, a 4.5% increase from last year, and the overall seat occupancy rate reached 85.7%. LG Twins recorded the highest attendance (1,326,670), followed by Samsung Lions, Doosan Bears, and Lotte Giants, each mobilizing over 1 million spectators. The high fan interest was demonstrated by the fact that 277 games, nearly half of the total 565 games this season, were sold out.
