The Korea Sports Association has decided to send a delegation of 41 sports and a total of 1,520 athletes to the 2026 Asian Games. The event will be held in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan from September 19th to October 4th. The association also expressed its strong will to respond decisively to unfounded malicious complaints, and plans to protect athletes and member organizations by establishing procedures for verifying facts and setting response standards. Amendments to the 'Regulations on Member Sports Organizations' and 'Regulations on Presidential Election Management' were also approved to expand the scope of voters and enhance the representativeness and democracy of the presidential election.
