The U.S. Department of Defense has signed a maximum 10-year contract with Boeing for the supply of F-15 fighter jets worth KRW 182 trillion. The contract is part of the 'Eagle Crest' program and includes aircraft production, system integration, performance improvement, and maintenance support. Korea, Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland are among the countries included in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. The Korean Air Force currently operates 59 F-15Ks and is expected to receive future aircraft performance improvements and maintenance support through this contract.
