A sergeant with the Jeju West Police Station was urgently apprehended on suspicion of falsely concluding a missing person report case. It has been confirmed that Sergeant A also falsely concluded another missing person case after the Jang Miran case. Sergeant A reported that contact had been made with the victims in both missing person cases and closed the cases, but there is no credibility to his claim as there is no evidence such as communication records. The Jeju Police Agency plans to strictly investigate Sergeant A's alleged crimes.
