The ruling and opposition parties agreed on the 26th to handle bills such as the amendment to the Yongsan Park Construction Special Act, which eases the standards for securing green space in the Yongsan Camp Kim site, at a plenary session of the National Assembly. This bill aims to increase real estate supply by allowing more housing to be built on the Camp Kim site. The government announced earlier this year that it would supply 2,500 households to the Camp Kim site as part of its real estate measures. The Democratic Party led the passage of the Yongsan Park Special Act amendment in April, while the People Power Party boycotted the session. The ruling and opposition parties are scheduled to hold a plenary session next week to process the bills.
