Two Indonesian Navy personnel have been charged with life sentences for allegedly killing a car rental company owner and embezzling a vehicle. The defendants are scheduled to submit a plea memorandum (pleidoi) with their attorneys. A third defendant faces a four-year sentence on charges of acquiring a stolen vehicle. The court is scheduled to hold a hearing on the plea memorandum on March 17. Additionally, the defendants are required to pay compensation to the victim's family.
