The artificial intelligence (AI) industry in China is expected to reach a value of Rp 3,100 trillion by 2025, driven by growth from more than 6,600 AI companies. China has built a complete AI industry ecosystem, encompassing infrastructure, models, and applications across various sectors. The fastest growth is occurring in the AI model and framework segment, which includes the development of large language models (LLMs). The Chinese AI industry is concentrated in five provinces: Beijing, Guangdong, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Shandong. The Chinese government is committed to promoting widespread AI integration through the "AI Plus" initiative, with a target of achieving full integration by 2027.
