A large turtle measuring 30cm was found in a drainage ditch along the coast of Gijang-gun, Busan. The turtle had white writing on its shell, including a house address, wishes, and a person's name, leading to speculation that it was raised by someone and then released. Experts classify this turtle as an invasive species and warn against releasing it indiscriminately. Unauthorized release of invasive species can result in fines or criminal penalties under relevant laws, and the act of vandalizing the turtle's shell is also subject to punishment.
