Gyeonggi Province Yeoncheon County remodeled a brick factory that had been abandoned for 20 years into a cultural and artistic space by investing 13.5 billion won. This space includes art exhibition halls, cafes, etc., and preserves past factory facilities such as kilns and chimneys as they are to allow visitors to experience the history of the brick factory. Yeoncheon County expects that this space will expand opportunities for local residents to enjoy culture and promote tourism, contributing to the revitalization of the local economy. In addition, Eun-dae-ri Cultural Brick Factory plans to create synergy by linking with nearby tourist attractions.
