Japan has recently seen a surge in heatstroke patients due to the intense heat wave. From July 27th to August 2nd, over 9,000 people were hospitalized with heatstroke, resulting in 7 deaths. Many cases occurred in major cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Aichi, and there was also a significant increase in heatstroke patients in Kumamoto Prefecture, which experienced a strong earthquake last month. There are 3,500 severe cases, and it is reported that 4 people died from suspected heatstroke in Tokyo.
