Japan's Kumamoto Prefecture was hit by a magnitude 7.1 earthquake last month, resulting in 38 deaths and widespread damage. Recently, scorching temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius have been added to the mix, making it difficult for residents to recover from the disaster and cope with evacuation life. The Japanese government plans to allocate 20 billion yen in reserve funds for earthquake relief efforts and grant administrative procedure exceptions. In addition, a large ferry will dock at the Yatsushiro Port in Kumamoto Prefecture to provide medical and accommodation services for earthquake victims. The earthquake also caused significant damage to agricultural facilities and farmland.
