The People Power Party Ethics Committee has initiated disciplinary proceedings against lawmakers Jo Kyung-tae, Jin Jong-o, and Kwon Young-jin. They were each accused of inducing the defeat of National Assembly First Vice President Park Duk-hum and supporting candidate Han Dong-hoon. However, the lawmakers subject to discipline are strongly protesting, questioning the fairness of the Ethics Committee. In addition, some Ethics Committee members are criticizing the operational methods of Chairman Yoon Min-woo and calls for his resignation are growing.
