The Indonesian government emphasizes that People's Business Credit (KUR) with a ceiling of up to Rp 100 million does not require any additional collateral. The public is urged to report if they find any deviations in the KUR application process, such as requests for additional collateral or charges. The KUR program is designed to facilitate access to financing for micro and small business actors who do not yet have access to commercial credit. For KUR loans up to Rp 100 million, the main collateral in the form of the financed business is sufficient, while additional collateral only applies to loans over Rp 100 million in certain cases. The KUR interest rate is only 6%, much lower than the commercial credit interest rate.
