The Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service announced the results of a patient experience evaluation conducted on over 130,000 patients. The overall satisfaction score was 87.54 points, with all areas scoring 80 points or higher. However, 'emotional support' such as comfort and empathy from medical staff scored the lowest at 82.37 points. Hospitals with more experience in evaluation participation tended to show improved patient experience evaluation results. In the 5th evaluation, a grading system was introduced, classifying hospitals into grades from 1st to 5th. The 6th evaluation is scheduled to be implemented from September, including specialized hospitals and hospitals with 100 or more beds.
