The Financial Services Commission plans to implement additional measures related to single-stock leverage ETFs as soon as possible. To stabilize the market, the FSC will promote the establishment of a legal basis for financial authorities to take market stabilization measures in case of emergencies through amendments to the Capital Markets Act. In addition, it plans to set individual investment limits, introduce excessive bid burden fees, and make simulated trading mandatory for single-stock leverage products to prevent excessive risk concentration and market distortion and strengthen investor protection. The specific implementation date will be determined after discussions with relevant agencies and the industry.
