A wild animal, presumed to be a wild boar, appeared in Ipam-dong, Gangneung City, and was captured on a vehicle's black box. Witnesses judged the animal to be a wild boar based on its size and movement. However, citizens did not report it to the fire department, so no capture was made. Wild boars tend to come down from the mountains in the summer to consume salt, which is why they often appear in urban areas. As Ipam-dong has many apartment buildings and walking trails, concerns are being raised about the safety of residents.
