The Ministry of Justice announced that it will implement the 'e-Arrival card' system for foreigners entering South Korea from Monday, February 24th, 2025. This system allows foreigners to submit their arrival cards electronically during immigration inspection.

- This system allows foreigners entering South Korea to submit their arrival cards electronically (online) in advance.
ㅇ Key Points
- (Submission method) Apply online through the website (www.e-arrivalcard.go.kr) (web or mobile) up to 3 days before arrival in South Korea.
- (Eligible users) Same as the current paper arrival card submission requirements (foreigners with short-term visas of 90 days or less, foreigners who have not completed foreign registration, etc.).
※ Holders of valid K-ETA are exempt from submission.
- (Submission method) Individual or group e-Arrival card completion and submission.
- (Confirmation) After submitting the e-Arrival card, you can view the electronic arrival confirmation on the website (downloadable as a PDF file or capturable).
※ An email notification will be sent to the email address provided by the applicant.
- (Immigration inspection) Normal immigration inspection is possible even without carrying the electronic arrival confirmation.
