Mount Marapi volcano in Indonesia erupted twice on February 19, once in the morning and again in the evening. The volcano is currently at Alert Level II (Waspada), and residents in the surrounding area must remain vigilant about the risk of lahar formation. Particularly during the rainy season, heavy rainfall increases the possibility of lahar floods. Residents are advised to wear masks when volcanic ash falls, and access within 3km of the crater is prohibited.
