The National Police Agency's Special Investigation Headquarters (SIH) for the three special prosecutors' handover case has been transformed into a dedicated investigation team after eight months of activity. The SIH completed 121 out of 192 cases received from the three special prosecutors, and the remaining 16 cases will be investigated by the dedicated investigation team and the National Police Agency's Counterterrorism Division. Major cases transferred include Jeong Jin-seok, Yoon Jae-soon, and Kang Ui-gu, who were involved in the initial PC reset at the Presidential Office after the December 12th and 3rd martial law, as well as Shin Yong-hae, former head of the Correctional Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, who ordered the securing of a space for "violators of the gag order." Lee Jong-ho, an associate of Kim Kun-hee, was also transferred for charges such as fraud and violation of the Attorney Act. The SIH did not directly investigate former President Yoon Seok-yeol and Ms. Kim Kun-hee.
