The Korean Ministry of Education is dispatching 15 Korean teachers to Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, which are APEC member countries, to conduct AI·digital education training. This project will cover AI utilization lesson design, coding and physical computing, digital-based teaching and learning strategies, targeting approximately 140 local teachers and educational experts. Started in 2001, this project has contributed to strengthening the educational capacity of 19,000 teachers in 11 APEC member countries through a total of 794 Korean teachers so far. The Ministry of Education plans to realize AI·digital education innovation agreed upon at the 7th APEC Education Ministerial Meeting and promote the spread of K-Education through this dispatch.
