The Ministry of Communications and Digital (Komkomdigi) will study the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) which states that the remaining internet quota of users may not expire and must be used up. Minister of Komkomdigi Meutya Hafid welcomed this decision and affirmed her commitment to protecting consumer rights. Komkomdigi will examine the implications of the MK's decision, including the possibility of adjusting regulations. The Association of Indonesian Cellular Telecommunication Operators (ATSI) is waiting for derivative rules from Komkomdigi regarding the implementation of the MK's decision. Constitutional Court Decision Number 273/PUU-XXIII/2025 states that the remaining internet quota is personal property and operators may not charge additional fees for the use of the remaining quota.
