In particular, suspicions of election system manipulation were raised during the investigation into the shortage of ballots in the June 3 local elections, making fairness assurance a crucial task for restoring public trust. Experts pointed out problems with the appointment of incumbent judges as chairman of the Election Management Committee and the concentration of election management and regulatory tasks, emphasizing the need for system improvement. In particular, it was also pointed out that the Election Management Committee's interpretation authority over voters and its influence on the political sphere are significant.
