President Trump presented the Dodgers players with commemorative coins, and the Dodgers gave President Trump a championship ring and a specially made uniform. President Trump praised Japanese star Shohei Ohtani as "a player approaching Babe Ruth" and commended Yoshiinobu Yamamoto's performance in the World Series. Dodgers players Mookie Betts and Enrique Hernandez did not visit the White House for personal reasons.
