Actress Ha-ni Lee plays the role of Sim Young-ja, a female boxing promoter, in the drama 'Promoter,' depicting the heyday of Korean boxing from the 1970s to the 1980s. Based on a true story, this drama follows Sim Young-ja's journey of discovering boxer Jang Jeong-gu and guiding him to become world champion. Rookie actor Park Yun-ho takes on the role of genius boxer Jjang-gu. The screenplay is written by Kyung-sun Ryu, the writer of 'Long Live the King,' and Jong-seok Lee, who directed 'Negotiation' and 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay,' directs the drama.
