Indonesia's high-speed railway Whoosh experienced two operational delays during the holiday period. The first occurred on the first day of the holiday due to foreign objects, and the second was caused by track intrusion by a person with mental illness. Passengers experienced approximately one hour of delays, and KCIC provided beverages and light snacks to alleviate inconvenience. KCIC announced that it will conduct an evaluation to enhance security measures following this incident and stated that passenger safety is its top priority. However, concerns have been raised that the response to the surging number of passengers during the holiday period was insufficient.
