The KPK rejected the gratification report of Forestry Minister Raja Juli regarding the envelope given by Kuansing Regent, Suhardiman Amby because the case has entered the investigation stage. This rejection is based on KPK Regulation Number 1 of 2026 which states that the KPK will not follow up on gratification reports if the case is being investigated by law enforcement officers. Raja Juli had previously returned the envelope given by Suhardiman to the police before the Regent was named a suspect in bribery. The KPK suspects that Suhardiman received bribes related to the appointment of the Regional Secretary and the change of forest function.
