On June 3rd, the day of the local elections last month, police applied for an arrest warrant for Ms. A, a woman in her 30s, who is accused of obstructing business by blocking entry to the handball stadium at the Olympic Park, which was used as a polling station. Ms. A blocked the door for about two hours after agreeing with participants in the demonstration and Jang Dong-hyeok, representative of People's Power, on entering the stadium. Police also applied for an arrest warrant for one of five suspects accused of illegally searching the handball stadium on June 8th. Three others who broke into the machine room entrance were sent without detention.
