The Chungnam Office of Education launched the 'Teacher Rights Protection Promotion Team' to protect teacher rights and imposed a fine on the guardian of a student who interfered with educational activities as its first administrative measure. This is the first case implemented under the Teacher Status Act, and the promotion team is currently intensively managing 6-7 cases of interference with educational activities. The promotion team visits schools to confirm the situation and support teachers, and is scheduled to transition into a formal Teacher Rights Protection organization in September. The Teacher Rights Protection Officer will be responsible for responding to interference with educational activities, malicious complaints, reports of child abuse, etc., protecting teachers' educational activities and reducing the initial burden of response from schools.
