KBS 신임 사장 공모에 김대홍 KBS 보도본부장, 이정환 전 미디어오늘 사장, 장해랑 전 EBS 사장 등 총 28명이 지원했습니다. 지원자들은 다음 달 6일 서류심사를 거치고 필요시 면접을 진행합니다. 이후 국민 200명으로 구성된 사장후보국민추천위원회에서 경영계획 발표 및 면접을 통해 최종 후보자가 선정됩니다. 최종 임명은 국회 인사청문회를 거쳐 대통령이 결정하며, 임기는 3년으로 연임 가능합니다. 하지만 현 KBS 사장이 신임 사장 선임 절차에 대해 법원에 효력 정지 가처분을 신청했기에 향후 일정이 변경될 수 있습니다.
28 people, including Kim Dae-hong, head of KBS News Bureau, Lee Jung-hwan, former president of Media Today, and Jang Hae-rang, former president of EBS, applied for the KBS new president recruitment. Applicants will undergo document screening on June 6th next month, and interviews will be conducted if necessary. After that, a committee of 200 citizens will select the final candidate through a presentation of business plans and interviews. The final appointment will be made by the President after passing the National Assembly personnel hearing, with a term of three years and eligible for reappointment. However, the current KBS president has applied for an injunction to suspend the effect of the new president selection process in court, so the schedule may change in the future.
