I'll just list a few points that I personally consider important.
By the way, my car broke down right before the last three supply stations, and I DNF... Fortunately, it was near the third supply station, so I comfortably waited for the tow truck while eating plenty of garaetteok. ㅋ
According to VIPs who rode with me, the last 30 kilometers were a highlight, whether it was the scenery or the uphill climb.
1. Entry Fee : S, 40,000 won is a thank you, these days I feel strongly against anything over 70,000 won. ㅋ
2. Course : S, 123KM/1547M Imsill Okjeongho Riding is the first time for me, and it's as beautiful as any cherry blossom spot. The road surface was occasionally bad, but I guess that's the same anywhere in Korea.
3. Congestion : S, Everyone seems to have gone to Wonju or on a cherry blossom tour, so this is the first time I've seen such a deserted Granfondo. There was no bottleneck phenomenon that you usually experience at the beginning of any Granfondo. The entire course was also sparsely populated and had good scenery, giving it a cherry blossom tour feel.
4. Souvenir : C, If the entry fee is 40,000 won, just give me a medal, but I think it would have been best if they had given us a block of Imsill cheese instead of a T-shirt.
5. Supply : A, The first supply station was skipped, the second supply station's snacks were so-so, and the third supply station's garaetteok was delicious. The oden they handed out before meals was awesome! But is it just me who wanted Choco Pie at the supply stations?? This is the first Granfondo without Choco Pie....
6. Operation : S, They stopped cars at major intersections and gave directions. I enjoyed riding without much stress from vehicles throughout. However, the course itself doesn't seem to be a heavily trafficked route. Like other cherry blossom spots, there weren't many vehicles.
